A unique, one-time concert donated by Shalom Chanoch hosting Gidi Gov took place on January 27th in the Tel Aviv Cultural Center at the initiative of "Yeladim – the Council for the Child in Placement" for 8,000 children living in residential group care.
Chanoch and Gov raised the adrenaline level of the audience. They sang their best known hit songs both together and separately. During the performance two children, 11 year old Chai from, Neve Wizo in Herzliah, and ten year old Eden, from from Alumim in Kfar Saba, were invited to the stage and gave a moving rendition of the song "Children from Life" with Shalom Chanoch. The audience was deeply moved, and some of them even came up towards the stage while singing and dancing to the rock music together with the youngsters that had been brought to the performance.
The event was sponsored by Gila Katav together with Galia Maor – National Director and Chair of Friends of the Council, and Prof. Dan Schnidt Chair of "Yeladim – the Council for the Child in Placement". The event was hosted by Ronit Lev-Ari, Director of the Council.
